Amazing what you can find out online if you've got time.
OK, the first couple of scenes in the clip Hilly posted of the Jompson Brothers On the Run, of the bloke lying next to his panhead feeding chunks of wood into a small fire, and then sitting up sipping from a tin cup, are from a movie I've never heard of before, The Road to Paloma, Jason Mamoa acting in it. It's a bit of a ratty panhead, but nice.

I haven't watched it, so you suggest giving it a miss?
I do like the camp-fire scene in the music clip, that's always been my favourite way to travel on the bike.
Dunno if I'd be able to get down into my swag and back up at the moment, but maybe some good news there too,
Quack is starting to treat me by sucking blood out, 1 bag yesterday, another in a couple of weeks, and so on. Apparently my blood iron content is way too high, which might explain the muscle and joint pain, weakness, constant tiredness and smashing headaches. Hope it's gonna be that simple.

It has its good bits, scenery, fights, garage etc, but yeah not a great one, been near five years since I used my swag I reckon, maybe more.

Hope the doc is onto it 🤞

Do not waste your time with this show. Could not watch it all went out and watched the lawn grow and the paint dry.

Bega foods is closing its peanut processing plants at Kingaroy and Tolga up north over the next 18 months, leaving growers  workers and the towns stranded.
Reckon there's gonna be some cheap real estate in Kingaroy next year.
That old agrarian socialist that did so much to build the industry, Joh Bjelke Petersen, will be rolling over in his grave, trying to get out and have them all batoned and arrested.

Cute and lovable, eh? Man's best mate, shaggy thing that makes the inside of the house look like one of those old snow dome decorations.
Came back late from running a fire on steep grazing country, thought I'd feed the dog pack before having a beer or a shower.
Gotta tie up the big shaggy lummox befor feeding her or she bolts her tucker and goes push one of the smaller dogs away from theirs.
I get her to sit then lie down before putting the dish down, then start to step away,  second step I find that her standing up and moving to her dish has put a loop of the lead around my foot, 30kg Maremma on one end of the lead and a concrete house stump on the other and I'm heading for a full lengh faceplant  into the concrete floor. Head smacks into concrete really hard and I'm on the ground checking what hurts when I find that 55 year old muscle memory has kicked in and I find I've done a judo style breakfall, open palm slapping the concrete just before my face hit.
Ambulance took me to Caboolture hospital, 6 hours sitting in the waiting room with the moaning junky and lots of other unhappy people, 9 hours before seeing a doctor. Turns out that the breakfall

Yeah, finally the next morning. Broken bones in right wrist and elbow, soft tissue damage with associated pain and swelling there, as well as both knees and shoulders and left hand wrist and elbow, lump and cut on my forehead. A young Asian doctor came for a visit as I was lying in a cubicle after x rays, asked to look at my hands, looked at the heavy bruising over the palms and fingers, asked how long since I'd done judo, then told me I'd done a very good breakfall, that yes I'd broken some bones, but I'd prevented a full force flat faced hit, with high risk of skull fracture, broken nose and jaw and smashed teeth. Also said that concrete is harder than a judo mat. It didn't take any pain away but did cheer me up a bit.
Oh yeah, the X Ray techs said they did find some evidence that I still had some brain left.
So I won't be riding for 6 weeks or so, won't be meeting some mates in Woodford and running nice back roads back here to the official opening of Big Chiefs Customs next weekend.

    G'day,
so, you are alright then ?
    My story.
2401 days ago, [16/2/2019] I was coming to the rescue of my family, who were being terrorised by a mouse. I was pulling the 'fridge away from the wall when some one yelled "its behind you". I turned around and stepped on a wet part of the floor and went down. Foot went under a cupboard and remained stationary, while the rest of me crashed to the floor. Luckily, my son was there to tell me " don't look". Ambos arrived, took one look and said "breathe through this", a green tube. No effect for me. Result, tib and fib broken just above the saddle, off to hospital.
Two weeks later I was on sick leave, all of it, then accumulated rec leave, then retirement.
    Fan fucking tastic.
I thought ,how about a dog. I was advised "don't get a dog, don't get a big dog, don't get a white dog," Stop me if you have heard this.
So, my kids asked me if I would like a poodle. I was thinking about a greyhound, easy to maintain, sleeps a lot, walk once a day.
You know what a poodle is, one of those small fluffy things that well knowns strut about with.
Being the good parent that I am I said yes.
We arrived at the breeder, and this hound of the baskervilles lept over the gate and placed his paws against my shoulders.
    Love at first sight.
Pedro is a standard poodle. About 60 cm. at the head and 30 kg. Pure bred , about 8 years old, fully house trained and when he is groomed and looking good...the ultimate chic magnet.
p.s. poodles don't shed.  Not one hair anywhere.

    yesterday
    G'day Hilly,
agreed, but not in the kitchen with family and a serving of Inner Circle's best, which is one of the reasons the green whistle didn't have any effect. Conclusion: rum is a better pain killer than the green whistle.
Downside: 3 or 4 visits from some alcoholic anon. or similar during my visit in hospital.

57% !! Once I've mastered beer I might give it a go. Though I've been trying for 45-odd years and it still gets the better of me :-)

I hope your recovered well from the injury.
