Dobt hell comment again but i called emailed tried all forms of contact muilple times over 4-6 months before closing and with the 10’s of emails i sent I probably got 3 in return 1 of which was after leaving a email and voicemail saying i had contacted the legal system ( i forget who it was ) and with that final email they sent was a generic email stating i was being refunded but yeah unless you keep on him he wont do shit and from what i read it sounds like he has washed his hands of it

Dan took full payment for a Chevy cab (approx 17k) that he was suppose to get for me. Communication wasn’t the best every now and then and it’s been pretty concerning at times when you dont hear…to his credit he did eventually respond to emails, just took often too many, and I wasn’t hammering them either, sometimes the info was pretty average considering the money on the honouring.  It’s been well over a year waiting, but he has started refunding some funds, I’d like it to be more and faster but I’d also like it slow over none at all. I like to think the best of people (to my detriment) but I don’t think he set out to scam people just got way in over his head and didn’t stay on top of communication and finances until it all blew up. (This is what I tell myself so I feel better about it and don’t go into a blinding rage and drive down there) At this stage I haven’t taken my issue to vic police (who said they are aware of the case but need more people to take more action), I have all the stuff they want put together but as long as I can get my refund I’ll hold off. Hopefully he keeps honouring his word as it’s a lot of money for me. I think it’s important to deal in facts, so at this stage I’m getting refunded small amounts, is it fair no, but if he keeps it going we won’t have any issues. 

Don't hold your breath waiting for Vic Police to do anything. They will view it as a civil matter - and won't want to know. Despite the bullshit they may feed you.

Stuart it’s not just vic Pol though, the case officer there has mentioned it could be framed as federal AFP as it’s both using a carrier service (internet) and it’s not in Victoria. ACCC also know about it.

How the fuck these thieving bastards are still in business is beyond me, still owe me $2,000 from over a year ago!!

They did close up 6 months ago, but I emailed them about my issue with a purchased product last week and warranty was honoured even though I guess they could have told me to get stuffed.
