Its a long one way trip delivering anything up that way. Not many loads coming back out. Hence the cost of things up there.
The ways its going we wont be able to afford fuel by 2035 when all these EV only bikes and cars are roaming our streets. They will increase fuel beyond any affordable price and tax the fuck out of your fossil fuelled car/bike till you have to have a EV. And the Greens and Labor/Teals will be salivating over their achievement. God knows how much it will cost to charge your EV by then as we wont have any power stations to generate electricity.
