It looks better than any of the Japanese copies, meaning closer to the mark, if they price them right and they don't break down I reckon there will be a few sales, that's gunna irk a few haha

Well HD won't be using that engine anymore. It does look good, I guess that that translates an an accurate copy. Far better than a Yamaha Bolt that is aiming at the same target.

Not me Hilly....we laughed when Hyundai started in Australia and now smirking at Chinese bikes, they are going to be a force very soon! As previously mentioned had a CF Moto with us to the Cape and it ran faultlessly. Nothing broke , fell off or failed....impressive.

To put it in a nutshell, If you buy one of these you are supporting the enemy.
What true blue Aussie in their right mind would do that?.

Well indirectly we all are "Un Australian" as China is our biggest trading partner and we are all somehow a beneficiary of the profits from the proceeds of those exports. They singularly buy more than the 2nd, 3rd and 4th combined.

And who knows, if it's a close enough copy, those of us running Sportsters for the long run might have to end up buying parts originally intended for it. There's parts on my 90 model that are no longer available, were never covered by the aftermarket, and I've had to get made. The clutch adjusting screw is one.
I certainly plan on keeping on wearing stuff out.

It actually looks pretty decent.  I'd love to have a go on one to compare the feel to the original.

Mate, if you've won't buy stuff made in China, you've not bought anything electrical, any general consumer item, any jeans  and probably no new underpants in the last 10 years. I'm not saying it's good, but most transnational companies have transferred the world's manufacturing to China in that time.

I understand it is virtually impossible not to buy some stuff from there but they can stick motorcycles and cars and other stuff up their clakkas as far as I'm concerned.
If you take it all the way where does it end?. We buy our warships and military equipment from them.?

No they dont build our warships etc....we just pay France $835million to NOT build subs for us.....some $700million more than they were entitled to under the break fee clause. Total bill to taxpayers.....3.4 billion. How good is our government at economic policy.

The Government should have sent Brett Finch over there to negotiate with the French President.  He can talk his way out of anything.

And the Magnum tactical boots that are on the ADF approved list. Although to be fair, the issue boots are mostly Oz made Redback Terra, I think.

Took a bus load of Air Force guys to march on ANZAC day about 5 years ago into Brisbane. Stinking hot day and most lost the soles of their dress shoes due to the heat. Asked one of the officers about it over a beer later in the day and bitched about the Air Force buying in junk shoes that were made in china.
