thank you for responding... I do have the older software installed om my house PC and an early windows XP laptop that is to be a dedicated HD Tuning laptop... no other programs... I do have the first custom tune for the bike's first mods before I bought it several years ago.... I have changed the exhaust and air filter since then so it was never really a good fit. I dabbled with it just to make it rideable but it has never had a full tune. I am having trouble finding a Dyno operator that comes with any solid recommendations so, I am trying to learn how to do it myself.... I know more about mechanics than I do about computers so I am struggling a bit with the confidence to make any major changes until I have learned a bit more...... and ya cant learn if ya don't ask.... that is why I am here... thanks for your interest and assistance.... I am all ears... umm eyes.. :)

I'm a big believer in closed loop, makes it easier to tune at home, I use a program called MyTune to run the collected data through, it's a pretty decent tool once you know how to use it, can deal with knock as well, something the SE program doesn't cater for.
