So going back to your original post...  What if the bike cannot find the fob and does not recognise it anymore?  That might cause the problem.  I have no idea what the process is but try 're-pairing' the fob to the bike - yah got nothing to lose.

Have tried pairing key fob to bike a hundred times.
    Here's what Ive not got.
    No Ignition
No indicators working but indicator lights do activate when turning on to start
    No brake lights
    No power to the ECU

Mick, did you read my last 2 posts mate? Worth a try at this stage. Certainly sounds like the security module is stopping everything from powering up.

    Just a thought.
Havn't had a look at that modes wiring diagram, but mine has a back up battery in the alarm module itself.
Don't know how long they last or if they are just for the siren.

    Aye Pedro, thanks man.
I replaced every single mother fucker battery on my old Road Glide to appease the electrical gods to get her going. But, didn't tickle the spot mate.

Not sure if been mentioned,  but sometimes all these computor cars / bikes wont start when near high power tension wires and other electrical fields. Can you transport or push  the bike away from where you are now.

That's a good point. Had a Jeep Cherokee that refused to even unlock the doors once. Turned out that the phone tower beside the car park I was in was screwing up the signal. A couple of locals mentioned it would happen sometimes. Told me to stand on the other side of the car so it was between the the phone tower and myself. Did that and it worked fine.

Installed that shit starting with the first analogue mobile service, then Digi came along, then 2G , 3G, and we all know what crept up and grabbed us by the balls, can't live without 4G, little on not have 5G available to us, god forbid.
Amazing how people can-not survive without a mobile phone. There are still a few of us left, brain cancer slowly knocking some of the good ones off.

What I'm getting at is EMR = ElectroMagneticRadiation.
Perhaps Radio Waves can weave a web on a motorcycle heavily dependent on electronic componentary? Well that would be an interesting analysis if they sussed the 'Livewire'. Over the years have seen some intersting things that are totally not normal, one example, such as the radio coming from a tractor, the front end loader -bucket, parked under National Broadcast Masts.
Anyway not helping me with my non starter, was looking forward to showing off my new tin foil motorcycle hat. Working on a new chicken wire full length jacket next.

after 50,000 km, my dyna let me down,in the drive way.dash lights on,head light on,but no indicators and wouldnt activare the starter.quick found a fractured battery fuse, not blown a hair line crack in the fuse link, have only seen this a handfull of times, new fuse and away we went.had to take a close second look to see the crack, test light showed no voltage across the fuse.also found an oxidation issure in the fuse block that i must deal with [ rarely take the left cover off, maybe should look more often.bike went well all weekend

bruce, I have spent countless hours still trying to get her started; mate you were lucky finding your problem, no not lucky, but you analysed correctly. Hope ya had a great ride , barstead.(envious) Have installed all three new batteries, fuses,(One appeared perfect but did not pass, wouldn't take load, . threw out a half dozen didn't like the look of) Fairing, tank covers everything that'll come off is off
Got the dashes up for pin enter a few times now, entered pin but no change, still trying to get up "the pin change", not happening. After easter on bike trailer, and off to see if the bike spannerman can sort it out, dhould say the 'bike electrics man'. thanks for the advice though.

yes, balof it was a good grampians weekend, when mine refused to start, and the loss of indicators my first thought ,even before the test light ,was your situation....but i thought ,you would have checked/changed the fuses as the first point to look at and was sure you metioned that earlier, good luck with your " electrics " bloke and getting back on the road.

Too any that are interested, issue of a Non starter.
    What was it?
Motorcycle's antenna not synched into fob. Antenna not receiving fob signal.
There ya go, "elfuckentronics", and an unswitched on motorcycle owner.

So, was synched previously, but became unsynched due to flat fob battery ?

So the alarm / fob system was causing the problem ?  Something that is not necessary for the majority of bike owners anyway.
That is fuckin stupid.   Is it possible to disconnect the alarm completely?
My old bike doesnt have it and  I reckon that is a good thing.

I didn't even know you could, let alone should sync the antenna to the fob! I thought the fob was the slave, I take it it goes now?

I suppose if you live up  in  Queensland the alarm system would be necessary.
The rest of the country doesnt have a bunch of hillbilly's running around stealing motorbikes.
