Really enjoyed watching Broncos' getting smashed last night. What was even better was seeing the opposition drinking beer after the game in front of the tv cameras and not giving a shit.
Tonight was even better seeing the flamin storm go down to the roosters. Don't like either team just dislike one more than the other.
That guy (rooster) who got poleaxed looked like he may have been about to die.
    Entertaining shit all in all.

Yes it was a good game. Victor Radley seemed to suffer some form of a fit but was ok in the sheds thankfully. Finals are close this is the arm wrestle to get there.

Disgusting scenes at Suncorp  as security forced Broncos fans to stay and watch.....

Storm were terrible with key men out - soo many mistakes....i really thought Xavier would harden up when he moved to Storm but nup, still way too timid.....cheese put in good effort....Olam went hard as....
when Eels are on, they and maybe Roosters (recent form) are the ones thatl have half a chance to best the Panthers in finals imo

Agreed Storm where looking very un Storm like again. Munster needs a haircut and a slap around the head for his kicking game last night....is that really worthy of 1.2 mill a season? In the back of my mind i am not sure that Bellamy has stooged us all here....if they won last night they face Panthers, Panthers would win that and Storm gone. Now they are going to face the Faders and i think a very strong chance to beat them and advance. Let the fun begin.

Lodge for Roosters was killer again last night, as was Jarred til he went off......shame about Manu, he is intrical to their chances of finals success

Not sure why either side risked their stars last night for what is basically a nil result. So Rooters now get to play on the same field as Souths did and that was the first time foe either....struggling to see any "home" advantage there. Now several players are in doubt from both sides. Lodge is really playing well...think he's a free agent at the end of this season so maybe that's his incentive.

So even though the horse has bolted the Broncs can only go and win this game and hope the Faders get rolled to sneak into the finals. I think they can beat Dragons but dont think Faders will lose to Tigers but who knows.  Cobbo seems like he needs a reality check as well arriving late for training and overweight after his week off...disappointing!

Hunt was brilliant.....Broncs, as iv said before, still have something amiss there somewhere below the surface - dare i say it, Kev maybe??
Lovely display by the Cows but dunno if that could beat a full strength Panthers....

Evo think your on the money about Kevvie. Been talk of him trying to be part of the boys rather than someone who can lead those boys. Broncs were usless several times last night with either Reynolds getting caught with the ball on the 5th or lack of game plan. They say Kevvie is secure in the gig but we have heard that before.

They must’ve seen your post at half time and pulled their fingers out PB!

If you have no pride in your jersey, or for the people who wore it before you, then you need to fuck off. Its disrespectful to the mighty Tigers/Magpies that went before them....Beetson , Barnes, Roach, Sirro, Benny Elias, Pearse, Farrah, Jack , Summons, Raudonikis, Boyd, Kelly and many more. Old school players did it for the pride, the team and love of the game, todays players do it for the money and not much more. If you sat them down in the sheds and asked them to name 3 club legends not sure you would get an answer. Sad

I don’t think those concepts have applied with any significance for a long time.

The days of a person growing up in the area of their local club, playing juniors in the area and eventually making it to grade football and playing all of their career at that club instilled those sentiments but those days are long gone.

Nowadays a club is just a commercial brand and players’ loyalty simply go to whoever pays the most or gives the best opportunity (not the jersey). And contracts have long payed incentive payments

I follow parramatta as I grew up in the area. The players there have about as much affiliation to the area as I do to NZ/Fiji/Tonga

Ha Ha very true FB ....it does seem like i need a cultural pronunciation lesson prior to each game. Even Josh Papali'i who has had the same pronunciation of his name since i can remember has now requested a amendment to how you say it.

So Panthers player Taylan May has been charged and now found guilty of a assault in Qld. The NRL has handed down a two match suspension citing a breach of the NRL Code of Conduct. Fair enough so far.....The breach notice proposes a two match ban to be served in the first two matches of the 2023 season and a $7500 fine, half of which is suspended. WTF!!
Their reasons include "the impact of a match suspension at this time of year.”
So we see accidental head contacts being sent to the bin , farcical bunker calls , laughable refs calls, and very strange HIA calls that have influenced games on the field but bashing someone off the field you can somehow defer the penalty because you've finished first in the comp. Melb storm stood down Tui Kamikamica during a assault allegation. His case was dismissed BUT the NRL has whacked him with a nine-game suspension however the NRL has agreed to account for the eight matches he has already missed this season. And i might add the case was dismissed. !!!!
