Well gents were not all that far away from the pre season games. Thinking its still going to be the big four again this season, Storm, Rooters, Manly and Rabs....not so sure about Penrith, a few key players gone. Broncs to finish around halfway.

Seems like big Nelson wont go the jab....off to Japan to play Union. Nice man and a shame to loose from storm.

Yes evo agree. With a couple of big boppers gone think that middle may well be softer than normal, but Storm have a remarkable ability to somehow plug those positions with a new talent. Looking very much forward to this season.

Some rule changes for this season regarding the 6 again for ruck infringements inside the attacking teams 40m zone, went from a 6 again to a penalty and restart of play.
Last season trainers could stop the game and sometimes the momentum of the opposition....now ref, touch judge or bunker can make the call unless its a HIA then trainer can.
Penrith were the biggest offenders for giving away the 6 again with 75% of their defensive plays in their own half allowing their defensive line to form.

So, Panthers will have the most HIA's at the end of the season ?

Yes indeed....Addo Carr gone and this kid will slot straight in. Still worried about the engine room no big Nelson, Dale or Tui. I am going for the shock pick of Dean Ieremia being the other run on winger pushing Jennings to the bench.
Munster needs to get his head back into it again as well.

How quickly things change.....seems like big Nelson is free to start training with Storm from today.

Yeah that part is unclear....just indicated words to the effect of "having met current Covid requirements". Guess ultimately its no one else's business and he is in the game.

i disagree...if everyone else has had to adhere, then i think its pretty piss poor if some, & probably due to their status too, have been given green light possibly coz shit reason of religion?.....speculating there of course, more reason that everyone should know why

Umm not so sure about the "status" part for an exemption. Think both player and Dr would be under intense scrutiny if that ever came out and due to the fact that he hasn't made a under the radar appearance at training its a legit reason he can play. I don't believe that Bellamy would allow him back prior to checking everything was compliant.

Sad day.....Immortal Johnny Raper passed today after battling dementia. A true champion from a era past when head hunting was accepted and possibly resulted in his condition in later life.
Steve Mortimer has also been admitted to care also suffering dementia possibly caused by many head knocks in his career.
