Just saw a guy called Bryan Farrow on 7 local news Qld, says he is running a Harley in the finke desert race.
and the story mentioned there are 3 harleys entered!
On the official start list i think they are listed as 'other'. (there are 650 bikes/quads entered)
This bike looks like a Sportster? Check out those massive forks.

Brian is the local independent HD guy just up the road. He was with Sunshine Coast HD as a mech then went overseas to USA to ply his trade....good guy and a very good motocrosser. Interested in how he will go. He owns Farrows in Nambour.

The story said that bike once held a record for the longest jump, and it showed him doing a 360 cartwheel off a jump, motocross stunt style.
    call me impressed.....

40% of the track has 1500mm deep whoopdies

I think your referring to Seth Enslow record jump on that bike. Dont recall seeing that bike doing a back flip though.

I think the bike may make it but if its Brian riding it hes going to be ROOTED at the end. Wrestling a heavy mother like that through the sand is energy sapping.

I have attended 20 races in the last 21 years, could have give a running commentary few years back. The race supported side cars but stoped about 10 years ago Several had Harley motors. I’ll get updates and will definitely be adding a “told you so”
    If I’m correct

Well if the Harley rider is from Victoria and is not a AFL player, he will be staying home for Fink. All of Victoria has been banned from entering NT. Fink officials have tried / begged the Australia government for a waver as checkpoint 1 has been ran by a Victorian crew for 20 years from memory Vic has offered voluntary assistance of 40 expert people every year. None of them are playing in the AFL so all are banned, fink comity is going into overdrive sorting this one out

Guy assisting Brian Farrow with the bike build and preparation is none other than Gav Walker, if a guy can make a bike jump a very long way, or upside down, or both and come down the right way up it's Gav. He has also competed in the Finke many times himself.

    Cheers.
