I actually thought the bronco's went reasonably well, they may be coming right

I was that shocked i was even able to sit on the end of the bed and watch the game. Didnt want to go too far away in case the usual collapse happened allowing me to hide again. lol.
Forwards played very well and the game plan reinforces my belief that the Panthers are a confidence side, just what Storm did to them in the GF.
    Big game for Storm tonight

Yeh was a tight game, but with a player like Cleary, it was only a matter of time. Panthers have not been beat this year.

Yes good side, other than Storm and Canberra they haven't really been against strong opposition. The post-Origin period looms as a crucial period for the Panthers with four away trips including clashes against heavyweights Storm, Roosters, Rabbitohs and Eels.

What a crap round for shit official calls....send off for high tackle, slap on wrist for high tackle and penalty for high tackle....bunker made at least 3 incorrect calls after multiple rewinds and slo motion replays.

Have to agree, they need to improve fast!

Sharks and Raiders tonight. Tigers could do anything on their day...brilliant then horrible, usually in the same game, like the Gronkos!

PB, McGuire 7 weeks? You think that's fair? Ive watched it a dozen times or more and I don't even see see it as a send off, unfortunate that AC's leg went under but I don't believe it was deliberately done, he just looked for a way in and hit him hard, that's the game......or was!

Hey GM what a round! Looking like Maquire has pleaded guilty to the charge and that means 5 weeks. Like you i shake my head in wonderment at this ridiculous crack down. What once was a solid hit now incurs a penalty and usually someone on report. I chatted to Ryan Pap for around 10minutes today and not only does he look crook he says he feels really groggy so that hit was in my view high..a fraction late as well so no issue with the penalty and suspension of Fuimaono.
Sadly Maquire has a "bit of form" for high tackles and that may not have been favorable for him. This is the first time in 10 seasons that 2 players have been sent off in the same round....does that say anything about the clampdown.

Mate I'm all for stopping the late or deliberate nasty shit but it's a tough man's game, that's why they get paid so much, but why was McGuire's classed as dangerous? Was hoping you could spell it out so I understood, people will vote with their feet if the tame it down too much, that I do know.

Hilly The hip drop tackle technique involves a defender holding onto the hips or upper body of the ball carrier and lifting their own legs off the ground, dropping their body weight onto the ball carrier’s legs or feet. This technique often causes the ball carrier's legs to become trapped under the defender's body twisting the ankle or knee joint as they fall to the ground.

Sometimes justified as a legs tackle gone wrong, this technique is different from making initial contact and wrapping the arms at the hips or thighs and then sliding down the wrapped arms to the lower legs and ankles.

The technique can be spotted by the defender's wrapped arms staying at hip height and the legs held out in front of their own bodies rather than dragging behind them
