    Its still a pretty technical definition of the tackle...imagine in the tempo of the game how a ref has to weigh up all of those actions to determine that it was a Hip drop and award a penalty. Thats why we see so many "On report" calls during the game because the refs are not able to be totally sure its a certain type of dangerous tackle.
    It is my belief that in my lifetime we are going to see a transition to mandatory head gear at some stage in NRL

    Think you are correct about the headgear, ex NFL players are starting lawsuits over there, flow on effect will no doubt bring it this way.

    turned last nights game off at halftime in disgust....boring as batsh#t when they send players off like that...

    i was thinking last night as they sent those two players off, how ridiculous it would be if a third from the same team were to go.....i mean listening to Slater woffling on about how the Knights scored two amazing tries with two opposition off????..... hes in fairy land if he thinks thats a spectacle !!

    Chanel 9 have to talk it up due to being a game partner. Sadly they feel that they need to suck dick with NRL

    Exciting extra time but a grinding boring spectator game. Three bins and a few missed hits. The game before one of the kiwi lads got two warnings first!!!!! WTF?

    "grinding boring spectator game".....yep, so much so i fell asleep at the wheel after the second send off.....i think they said before the game 10 NRL Sharks players out from either fatigue inflicted injuries or match bans.....Dragons similar.....resulting in another second rate performance from both sides & me snoring my head off....apparently :-/

    Broncs vs Rooters was a further crazy game for on reports and sin bins....at this rate i may even get a run when everyone is suspended!

    we are but paupers, only FTA tv here & so didnt get to see Broncs / Roosters....but watched highlights on footy show today & Victor Radley getting sent off twice & on report 4 times???? in one game???....seriously??!?

    Manly played very well...cant take it away from them. Loss cost me $150 but enjoyed the game. Its crazy time in the NRL at the moment. A few rounds ago they were pinging the play the ball....at least 6 to 12+ allowed in this game alone

    Frustration got to poor Victor. Every time he tackled he was punished and it just boiled over. No NSW  jumper for him i guess.
