Well three rounds in and seems the top 4 sides are a step ahead of the rest. The new rules are creating a great spectacle but the player injury list is alarming....20 players confirmed non starters next week. The birdie told me there will be a new rule change for next weeks round....it revolves around the number of subs allowed.......

Not announced yet but the drum is they are going to allow more bench players...seems player welfare takes a back seat to the entertainment of 100kg men knocking themselves out or 80kg halfbacks.....

Tell me i am wrong here......Jarrad Hayne has been found guilty of rape that occurred 2018 and there is no dispute over that conviction. My question revolves around the NRL considering wiping his PRIOR achevements in a effort to conform to the current political agenda. Should that happen?

Hayne’s rugby league CV is among the most impressive in history, with two Dally M Medals for player of the year (2009 & 2014), and the Dally M Rookie Of The Year (2006) award to his name.

He was also named Representative Player Of The Year in 2014, made the Dally M Team Of The Year three times and won the Brad Fittler Medal for NSW’s State of Origin Player Of The Series a record three times.

could compare this with the MLB where all the "drug (steroid) cheats" from the past all still have their hall of fame and records acknowledged, but modern caught players get stripped of the chance to play

was he convicted of sexual intercourse without consent, not rape, I am no lawyer so I cant say what is the difference

I believe that sport and politics should be separate,

Agree with what you say SB. The records/awards had nothing to do with the assault so should stand. The only point i would clarify was that he was  not convicted of sexual intercourse without consent, but convicted on  two charges of aggravated sexual assault inflicting actual bodily harm.

the charge he was convicted on confused me, I got lazy as the copy past function would not work, some reports said one and the description you said was reported by the others, I got lazy and typed the shorter

So the rooters again are getting desperate...last season it was Duddy Bill who was going to win the comp for them in a Cameo appearance...now they have a star down this season and going to throw some 18yr old wonder kid under the bus.

    Rest in Peace Tommy Raudonikis.
Must have been one of the toughest halfbacks if not the toughest ever.

I was that shocked i was even able to sit on the end of the bed and watch the game. Didnt want to go too far away in case the usual collapse happened allowing me to hide again. lol.
Forwards played very well and the game plan reinforces my belief that the Panthers are a confidence side, just what Storm did to them in the GF.
    Big game for Storm tonight
