Benno, easy, while the bike on side stand, approach it from the Carb side or Injection if EFI, step on running board or foot peg or what ever, then just step over the bike & sit down.

That sounds a bit dangerous to me KK . I am assuming you mean the right hand side?Dont know why you had to get so  technical about  Right Hand Side but anyway.  If the bike was on the side stand on level ground it would probably be ok but wouldnt it depend on how heavy you are? If you were a big fat cunt I reckon you would pull the bike over on top of yourself. That would be fucked.
If the bike wasnt on dead level ground it might come over even easier.
If I hadnt drunk 8 beers I would be outside experimenting with this technique.

Haha I had a laugh out loud too.
What’s gonna happen to old mate once he works out how to get onto his bike. He might have a drama or two getting off the bloody thing

Ah, explains your T4 forum name?

Not to hijack your thread Raybear, but yes, T4 is the worst of my three crushed vertebrae. Don't recommend the process as it results in chronic pain 24/7. Not enjoyable, and makes me a grumpy old cunt (which is why I don't post a lot).
Only Guzzi I ever owned was a SP1000, and I wish I'd never sold it :(

Good for you RB. It looks like a ripper of a bike and they know their stuff there. Cool thread too.

Ah ha!, so you did have a Guzzi T4.
I had a Guzzi for maybe 35 years that I had to sell cause it kept hurting my back. They are great bikes.

I am with you James. Either raybear is a midget, fatfucker or an idiot, i shudder to think how he rides if he needs instruction to just get on it.

    Paul, try to be nice!
I still have not worked out , why people need windscreens & all those hard bags on a motor cycle, but meet a 90 year old riding a new Goldwing he was showing me how advanced, even had an airbag, he said good bike for an old bloke & keeps him young. but I don't think any of you blokes are in there 90's yet? so what's your excuse?

yeah but I got all you blokes going, but I like your sense of humour and thanks for the input. Be a great bike for a chick wearing a skirt. I have been riding most of my life and have a number of bikes but you have to admit they are a little awkward in comparison to the average ride.  they should have a door

Mate of mine is @ 130kg and can easily stand on the right side floorboard (carby side, right hand blinker side, throttle side) and lift himself over. Not a chance in hell of flipping the bike - law of physics won't allow it.

Fuck me dead.  How did this conversation become  about fukin bears anyway?

Right O  Chaser.  So the bike doesnt fall over if you  climb on from the other side. I will take your word for that but I will be checking tomorrow just for peace of mind.
