Cats and Swans for the win

But would like to see Lions win it all

Quoting paulybronco on 13 Sep 2022 10:03 AM

Know fuck all about AFL but arent the Lions a Qld based side....

Yer Pauly Lions are out of Brisbane, your like a lot of QLD blokes up here, don't follow the AFL but watch the GF, and down south we watch the state of Origen games but don't understand your code, always enjoy the Origen games my self.

So its possible then that QLD will win the NRL , AFL and State of Origin all in the same season....whats the chances?

Sportsbet or Ladbrokes, good treble if they all get up.

    # Go Cats.
Plenty of white noise 'scandal media' on the GF week as usual, should be a cracker game.

The Hawthorn “news” is a joke. Typical these days for people to report and draw conclusions when not all facts are known and persons on the other side haven’t even had the opportunity to speak.

Interesting that none of the credible commentators who played the game have commented other than Luke Hodge, Sam Mitchell and Shaun Burgoyne who probably had a need to put out a “holding pattern” media statement given their roles at the club at the time and their current roles/standing in the game.

Elite/professional sports require enormous commitment and sacrifice. Some people can adapt to it more easily than others. Some are required to make huge changes if they want to have any chance to succeed.

It’s a reality that some indigenous kids are gonna need to make more changes to try and succeed at that level relative to others. However there are Anglo kids who have also received advice about removing negative distractions from their life if they want to succeed.

And let’s not forget most clubs have and offer programs to all players to get education or a trade certificate for life outside of football.

I really doubt any arms have been twisted. Players don’t have to follow club advice but if/when performance isn’t at the level required, they’ll be cut loose. These issues are common across all elite sports.

    Hey everyone,
A good Mate of mine has 2 fully paid tickets for the AFL Grand Final in a private box with all food and refreshments included.
Unfortunately, he didn't realise when he bought them that it is on the same day as his wedding, so he can't go.
If you're interested and want to go instead of him, it is at 2pm today at St Paul’s Catholic Church, Melbourne and the bride's name is Amanda.

Anyone who knows anything about AFL would know that Sam knows what he is talking about.
His opinions are a bit extreme sometimes but he tells it like it is.
He had the balls to call out the woke entertainment at half time, nobody else did.
He was a bit harsh on the Swans performance because Geelong have been well and truly flogged in a couple of grand finals as well.
