Looking like a lot of thinking and research happening before anyone wants to throw out an idea.

    Plenty of time yet.

Plenty of accommodation by the river. Great meals at the Goolwa Hotel. A couple brilliant rides along the coast down to Cape Jervis or Wellington. Maybe even a morning ride to Adelaide Bike Works. Could be a goer. Distance has sometimes been a stumbling block for South Aussies. May get a good turnout. Missus can design and organise printed T shirts / long sleeved T's through vistaprint. What do you think Tim? Other SA fellas?

Needs to be central to all members if possible, Goolwa not worth starting your bikes up for if you live in Adelaide (suited to an overnighter), I guess I can speak for
China, us 2 don't give a fuck how far we ride (further the Better) so it needs to be closer to the NSW Boys and the Canberra mob, not sure
that any Qlders have shown any interest in the past if so now is the time to speak up.

Why not make it a Biannual big ride for each crew........

year 1  not so far for the Vic NSW crew

the next year a fair way out so everyone gets a big ride in

that way we can see a bit of the country???

what about Bermagui? It's always going to be too far for the people who live in Adelaide and Brisbane... and never far enough for Melbourne and Sydney

A few years ago I organised a ride to Broken Hill . We stayed at an old ex-pub . Think it was The Grand Guesthouse . Plenty of rooms and a big lounge we could chill in . The owner even took us in her ute to the bottle o to get all the booze , and she emptied fridges for us to use . She cooked a roast for tea Sat night . We rode there Friday , did a day ride Saturday round Broken Hill , then out to Silverton . Rode home Sunday .We had 20+ bikes that week end . Secure parking out the back .

I'm up for Moama, Broken Hill or anywhere really but needs to be a deceent ride to make it worthwhile. Still a bit pissed I had to cancel this year.

By the way this just reminded me the pricks at Moama still havent refunded our cancelled booking even though Gnoo took the cabin aand he promised an immediate refund.

Be keen on Broken Hill . Decent ride and pretty central for most apart from the Sandgropers.... but Keith and Trev don't mind a little ride!

They are assholes, I left a pair of expansive shorts in a cabin by accident which were giving to me by my daughter.

Had a hell of a time getting them sent home,  kept getting told they had forgot.

After a few phone calls I gave up and sent an abusive email. They showed up yesty.

Btw why don't we have it in qld, a decent ride for everyone and that way we might get one qlder to show...

    Second thoughts naaaa fuck emsmiley

Yes Graz, customer service very lacking in my personal experience. So much so I just put out a general call where to go instead of recommending them again.

Talking to Blair at ABW on the weekend, and he mentioned Kiama in NSW as a fantastic spot to visit with some very nice rides in the area. He had stopped over on the way back from the HD dealer meeting in Wollongong. Don't know anything about accommodation , but the New South blokes might be able to offer an opinion. Pretty central unless your from WA, but at least the Vic boys would get their engines warm, hey Mickle and China?

    Guys,

I've been chatting with Keith over in WA.  He likes the idea of going to Tassie for the National Run.

The boat is very cheap if you book early.

The roads in Tassie as just insanely awesome.  Well worth the trip.

Second motion from the West in favor of ! Seen enough of SA/VIC tracks to last a year or two,Launceston based ride out of ?
