The Honda was a real surprise, but I don't think the podium will change all year barring crashes, I'm looking forward to the big race, see if Jack can get in the points, going by the times yesterday I did think he could be in the second pack, 5-10, at least he stayed on, Binder didn't have a good day, he will be looking at a different outcome in the main race as well.

I watched the practice as well and that Honda sounded different from last season...wonder what's been massaged inside to get the added drive.

You need new glasses mate, Jake was that little purple dot on the rear horizon in the  Marquez brothers mirrors, yep Ducati cup, Marc is quicker than Alex out front, wonder if it's rider or bike?

I see autocorrect came into play there lmao, Jack not friggin Jake.

Thats not autocorrect!... He means Jake Dixon!  Jack was so slow he ended up in the Moto 2 race!

Nice racing at the front... and Ogura did pretty well as well.

Ogura did do well but has been disqualified for a infringement that didnt even provide a benefit

That was an interesting race, Marc was unlucky but it was his own mistake, same as the others that crashed out, good clean(mostly) race and Jack held 5th, not too shabby at all, rode really consistently after a good start, yeah, enjoyed that, Bag's deserved the win, Alex couldn't match him.

Yes Jack was consistent and really only in the last few laps lost 4th place. Good run.

Interesting seeing the safety car crash out of the event in USA....looked like the driver was trying to drift for the crowds...bit embarrassing ending up in the wall.

Qatar is proving interesting, Jack finding plenty of things that don't work, Quartararo doing much better, if they get all the settings right and run the right tyres he and Jack should be around the 5th 6th 7th areas, the Dukes have more speed, that Honda will be there as well, Bag's will be back up towards the front in the main with a different tyre, Binder will be around that spot all going to plan, should be a good race for the minor placings, 1st and 2nd are pretty much locked in barring fuckups.

What's the old saying? Only as good as your last screw up lol.
Jack came into this round 10th in the standings with top yammie placings in the last two meetings, riding at that level when you are crook or getting over it has got to be taxing, wrong tyre, his wasn't the only bike that suffered from that, settings that didn't suit the conditions, not excuses, just things in play.
This is probably his last year anyway as he was friggin lucky to get this gig and he will admit it, still, he has made a name for himself and is respected in an elite group of men and calls many a friend both past and present, the sport needs competitor's and he is definitely one of those, not a bad legacy in a cut throat occupation.

Its cut throat and ruthless at this level. Next in the spotlight is ex world champ Bagnia.....if he doesn't get things going pick maybe 5 top guys who could jump on that bike, including Alex Marquez!
I still don't understand why Jack took this gig, this bike was never going to be competitive this yr and when he was riding full factory bikes he couldn't consistently get the results.  Suck up the ego and head to WSBK get better $ and a competitive bike.

Good race, shook the pack up a bit, not a fan of the tyre pressure rules though, won't spoil it for those that haven't watched it.
