Fark, my hearing is shit, he said hurricane not Harley and the other one was a visual skip after they wave at each other and i thought they were in HD shirts! but they ain't 🫣.....don't mind me, spreader of disinformation and sufferer of dementia 😂

All the usual reasons eh Hilly?
Too much loud machinery, loud engines and pipes, wind noise, loud music and gunfire?
The souvenir of a well lived life.
Although as I said to the quack last week, If I'd known I was gonna live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself.

Best riders, most riders, best team, best funded on the best bikes, hard to compete with that.

1st thru 4th Ducati, 5th Aprilia down to Jack in 11th. He rode well and was near the front for a while then faded but at least brought it home.

1st and 2nd was a good race, although I think Mark was just sitting in 2nd to catch his breath...lol
New bike but same 'race to the rear' for jack - its got to be tyre management!

Seems the reason he pulled up is due to a tyre rule brought in a few seasons ago that the tyre cant be lower pressure wise for more than 60% of the race. This was to stop the tyre possibly delaminating. He allowed his brother to lead and the heat from the bike in front coupled with lack of air on his front puts more heat in the tyre increasing the pressure. All bikes have a low pressure alarm as do the pit crew who send msg via the dash. Other than holding on to the thing at 366kph and pressing the ride height at the right time you now to worry about this....respect.

Seems Jacks fairing was threatening to come off at 320kph and that's why he faded back, shame but thems the breaks, why are there so many rules about tyre pressure? Jeezy they dictate what you can use and now you get in the shit if the pressure ain't right, supposed to be a race!

The lower the pressure with the tyre the more surface contact and therefore grip....michelin were deeply concerned that the tyre wasn't constructed to run at high speeds with low pressure and could fail....moto gp introduced the rule to stop the teams doing this. The tyre runs in a very small window of temp and pressure and riders need to either slow or get clean air to maintain these windows. Dash and telemetry from pits monitor several things and will sent alarms to bikes. I was gobsmacked in 1986/7 when Honda was able to use a satellite to send a tune to Nigel Mansell's F1 car while he was driving it....technology has only get smarter.

Well a wild development in Moto GP for next season.....Pirelli have been given the contract replacing Michelin.....there goes all that setup data and start again. Going to be good for teams like KTM , if they keep going, as they cant seem to get rid of the chatter that upsets their bikes.
