Well there's a little bit of unease at Moto Gp regarding KTM and that they have decided to not further develop the current bike , new kid on the block Acosta aint happy at all stepping up to a underfunded off the pace factory KTM and Ducati being the friendly bunch they are, have made a substantial offer to KTM to buy him out of his contract. This offer isn't going to chase the wolves away but would buy some time and show up better in the ledger. Lets see what happens.

WOW....shit is getting real. Saw that Maverick Vinales has jumped on board buying up a chunk of KTM shares as well, also lurking in the shadows is Lewis Hamilton who has previously shown interest in owning a Moto Gp team...crazy times.

Well looking like KTM will quit moto gp in 2026 so this is going to be their last lap this season. Don't expect any new development on the bikes or added resources. The penalty for pulling the plug early is greater than running for the final season. Bmw is one manufacturer whos made noise about joining but perhaps not till the new regulations take effect. Going to be a Ducati-a -thon this season. Aprilia will shine in some tracks but lack consistency and the Japs will improve but not enough to be front runners.

Although looking at the wind. once again maybe a hand and help for the brand. very interesting how an Orange aide can fall flat on its face. it is too big to fizzle. Wait for it. .. The likes of J.M. are the juice.

Is the back brake lever up there as well?
I think Mick Doohan invented that system when he broke his right leg and couldn't use the back brake.
Some of them throw their legs off the bike under heavy braking but I still don't understand why they do that.

They chuck the leg out to give their massive balls a break......

Well seems like KTM are a goner. Many suppliers have stopped providing services and they are log jammed with over 300000 new bikes unsold in warehouse's throughout the world. Seems like either Bajaj or CFMoto will pickup the pieces. All will be revealed at the end of Feb , this is the bankruptcy courts deadline to allow KTM to come up with a solution, production has stopped and will not resume till March depending on the outcome or possibly not at all.

    So a temporary reprieve.

They are still releasing 2025 models, even some brand new ones, 390 enduro for an example, be a great little bike for poking around the bush tracks.

I believe that the 25s are simply the stockpiled 23/24s that have been collecting dust around the world.
