Here's a pic of my 09'. She's getting a birthday in the coming weeks. New Samson powerflowIII 2 into 1, should be here monday, Ricor shocks and Intiminators are ordered along with a true track. Brian @ Eastern Big Twin will do the tuning. He reckons these 103" stage 4's can be time consuming to get right..Looks like I might have to break out the elbow grease to get her looking like most of the others.

hey oz ya bike looks fantastic. thanks for your advice i went in and had a look at the '13 fat bob, tried just about every dyna they had in the store but kept coming back to the fat bob. i a looking at a very similar setup to yours with the V&H 2 into 1 and the SE HB. which tuner would you recommend? any you would stay clear of? thanks

I run the power vision with pro auto tuner.
Ha ha don't have the V&H or the SE HB on it any more.

Not sure where your from but I seen a beautiful SE CVO Fat Bob the other day. For what most spend on changing a new bike around if I could do it again I would buy an import CVO.
    2009 , 7k , $29500.
that's $4k over a stock FB for all the bling and paint you could want and a 110 motor

Too true Max, For a lot of us though I'm sure just tinkering/changing things is half the fun. Well it is in my case. I like to say I hate changing shit and why didn't they come this way. Reality is I like doing stuff in the shed with tools (not too complicated) too make my bikes my version of that model.

down south here max, Melb way. still trying to do some more research before I commit the cash. I agree Harry I like tinkering as well. Imports is one way to go and a friend of mine lives in the US which makes it a bit easier. I think that trick thou is finding the right deal. there are some cheap bikes in the states but I reckon there are some lemons as well. The issue is you don't really know unless you have a look yourself. Food for thought thou.

    Harry,

With the rotors, tyres and hardware ( i went with a chrome sprocket cover the sprocket was $500) its $3500 with the loyalty scheme at GA i get $350 back so $3150

Tad expensive but its the last thing i really want ( except maybe stage II)

yes, had my tins painted custom colour " Mercedes Imola Grey Metallic". its an awsome paint in the flesh, photos dont do it justice. Optioned the rims, tyres and rotors at build level so saved a mint. All up the bike owes a shade over $42K

Better on the bike than over the bar. Tossing up whether to do mine a black metallic or a gun metal.

Hey stumbly1, bad&g...good bags ..good price...great for all the little and big stuff.

The battery bag comes with holes precut to bolt to battery covery after you take off the metal band which is double sided tape anyway.
