Even though 110km/h don't seem like a lot, a stock shovel runs best up to about 100 (unless you start tweaking it) - I've had my bike chewing along with full packing and passenger @ 180km/h pretty much stock (apart from changing the engine sprocket * see below) but vibrations comes and goes - I do not encourage you to ride a -81 shovel on these speeds though - things WILL come off and vibrations is normal - there's a few things you can do to improve things though (assuming there's no other issue...

Ok - so i did the run from Brisbane to Syney based a lot on the advice from those on the Forum and their replies so thanks in advance  Some comments FYI  - had the cam chain tensioners replaced / SE 204 cams / K and N open style air cleaner installed . Well today I finally got around the fitting an ebay rear fender Tri Bar tail light purchased a wee while back.That's into a 2008 CVO Springer with the 200 rear. Stock OEM LED cluster on that bike from new. My riding mates eventually got sick of the constant "flickering". Slipped the new (Chinese made) unit into the original OEM fitting bracket kit even tho' the newie came with a repeat fitting kit. I’ve got Heat Demonz grips on my FXR and I also have a set of heated gloves (batteries in the cuff area above the wrist). For context, I used to live in Canada and imported the bike home with me when I returned. You gotta have heated stuff for Canadian riding! Picked her up yesterday, Sad to let the sporty go, was a fantastic bike that never let me down and went like a shower of shit. I am very interested to see what they try and sell it for. FXDLS was presented very poorly, paw prints all over tins, dusty, and the big buck LED flush mount fuel caps/guage doesn't work for shit.
