This is no doubt one of those stupid questions i will regret but  here goes. I cannot seem to reduce the popping  by playing with the decel tables in SEST on my Fatbob  2x1 VH . If it is caused by unspent fuel igniting in the pipes as i understand from what i read, what happens if i adjust the table down so theres no fuel (0) when it decels.No fuel =no popping. I am not sure about what else happens tho. Overheating?bike stops?too much engine braking? As i said a dumb question but i am curious ...

Problem solved. Did some more 14.6 AFR runs and used the VEs generated from the last batch as the base for MyTune to work from. The first lot of runs generated 3 dozen changes, 10 of 15% or higher the largest was 22% @ 1250rpm and 0% throttle. Todays lot of runs with the updated VEs and timing made only 14 changes with a highest of 8% and most were low revs and 0 throttle. Thanks Lushy I’m glad you explained about this cam / comp combo being pretty well spot on. It is making sense to me now.Yes this exhaust v&h pro pipe had the same dip on the old motor with the se 203 cams.I have a mikuni 42 with all stock jetting as suggested by Hoody. The dtt is working good at the moment on initial 0 and advance 2. I always run 98 Ron now. I could try advancing the slope a bit maybe.

Gday speedster getting back with my comp testing , 180 psi front cylinder and 175 rear psi. A little difference, done 16500 km on this motor now and it uses some oil between changes bearing in mind that I opted for wiseco forged flattops and I’ve only recently discovered these run about 2 thou clearance cylinder to skirt. May account for that. Spark knock has settled heaps on the dtt at initial 0 slope 2 , pulls well.

Saw one of these at the dealer yesterday. It was fully kitted with the metal luggage. It looked huge. I’m 6 foot and standing beside it i felt like I would need a damn step ladder to get on the thing. These adventure bikes are massive these days. Really liked its brute looks though, just not for me PA 1 RR 0.

Southwark Old Stout for me, winter and summer, 7.4% but I will drink Carlton Zero on a stinker hot day if I’m on the tools. Been to parties, had to drive a long way home so didn’t drink, got a canning, “hey buddy what’s wrong with you, have a few drinks” etc. Next party, took a doz Heineken “0”, got a canning, folks said I was drinking too much. Can’t win.
