Just wondering if anyone had any quick fix's for getting your leather jacket buttons to hold stronger.  Once i hit around 110kph the like to rip open and let my jacket fly in the breez which is a massive pain in the @ss.

Get someone to sew a couple of stitches either side of each button hole so the hole is smaller...

Metal Stud ones, it's a vest actually to sorry. Prob gunna try and spread the inserts with a hammer some how, so there harder to clip together.

maybe sew some velcro in between studs to aid it

You can't kill a Harley Brando jacket (the old school ones).

I have one press stud that is a dick on my vest. The rest hold (thankfully).

Get some pointy nose pliers and lightly crimp the back of the press stud so as the circular wire clipping mechanism is slighty compressed . Do it a little at a time until it is as firm as you wish.

Damn RT, not a bad idea at all.

I get any leather work done in Ballarat at Saddleworld, their leather guy does great quality work at a very reasonable price. Have had press studs and zips replaced, and busted stitching re-stitched, always with good results.
Might be worth checking out if there's a decent Saddler near you, Leather is their specialty after all.
