Hi

Decided its time to put my wires in my bars.

Pulled the tank off unplugged the wiring harnes but now have no Idea how to remove the pins.

They don't seem to be like normal plugs whwere you can get the pins out.

Right side had black connector with 6 pins and

Left side has a Grey connector with 8 pins

Any one had to remove these late model pins before.

Any help appeciated.

I have managed to get the pins out of the connectors for the Switch gear cables so I can run them internal.

I have now pulled the old black vinyl cover off and replaced with heatshrink to make as compact as posible.

I also changed the switches and switch housings to chrome.

Had to drill ahole in the left hand housing to take the clutch switch on 07> bikes.

Also installed my Diamondback throttle & idle cables. Just need to adjust them now.

I had bought origonal (chrome) blinker/mirror supports as I liked the blinkers where they were but they are really Really close to the tank on full lock.

Have been looking at mounting same as the Night Train. Today I decided to buy brackets and remount the blinkers. The reason I finally decided was I could not remove the 4 wires in the plug for the indicators. Even went to the bike shop and they could not get them out either. The Manual tells you how and has a crappy pic on how to do but the y just would not budge so I thought F*** it I'll buy the reloaction and be done with it.

Hopefull tomorrow I will have finished and will post a new pic of my handy work.
