Hi,

is there any nightster owner that could help me?

I bought a pair of nightster blinker to put on my Sporty '07, they have four wires and I could make them work as run/brake but not as blinkers, even with a load equalizer but nothing.

Can anyone tell me how is connected on a nightster?? thx

Thanks for your reply, I've tried everything but no result. I have a second hand one and doesn't blink, but I bought a new one and exactly the same. I'm desperate.....!!

Could you please send me the wiring diagram that appear on your Service manual, so I could see if I'm missing anything.

Which wiring harness have you got? Is it 68955-08? It sounds like you may have the US harness (68278-07).... the US nightsters do not have the same led setup. You want the harness that doesn't have the converter module.

Sportytrace, I actually have a sportster 07 and I don't know if the problem is the harness, I don't think so, cause I built one to be to able to connect both blinkers, seems like a different blinker module. In Europe the nightster is exactly the same as in Australia but I don't know if it has a different blinker module as a Sportster. A wiring diagram would help me.

Bucket, I bought a blinker through ebay and the other one at www.lshd1.com and cost me US$212 plus shipping. The reference number is 69360-08.

Just a second, I just tried to hook up as Captain said, here at home with a power supply, and yess it works. Now I have to try it on the bike.

Seems like it is the harness.

The 07 harness on the sportsters has the converter module... the international nightsters do not.... with harness 68955-08 it should be plug and play
