Be afraid....I'm back on two wheels after 30 years in hibernation. (An oldie but a goodie). I know this sounds like sacriledge, but previously rode Triumph Bonnevilles & other types. Well, I'm converted, so now its everything HD. After so long away, I didn't want to kill myself too quickly, so started out with a XL 883 with Custom bars, tinted sport windshield & kwik detachable K Drive bags. (Bike is black of course). Boy! these things are torquey aren't they? Have copped heaps for not having the open faced matt black helmet, but it is black. Times change...EFI, computors etc, what a shame they haven't heard of fuel gauge. I'm from Drouin South in Gippsland, Vic, & really enjoy the rides through the mountains. Would do more highay running but keep trying to find the non existant 6th gear, plus the seat kills me bum on longtrips. The bike is light & nimble & very forgiving. Maybe a Dyna might do the trick? Ride safe.
welcome fatman, enjoy .....
G'day Fatman

Welcome to the nuthouse Fatman. No shame in riding a Trumpy mate, they're a great thing (when they're running).
Enjoy your sporty.
