G'day guys  just chasing thoughts / ideas on seats the Boss Lady tells me that the badlander makes her numb in all the wrong places , but I like it so am thinking about geting a second seat to swap when she comes along.  How is the softtail standard seat? Anyone got any other suggestions on a comfy stylish seat that would liik ok on a nighttrain

I have a badlander that I think is great, but when were out for a family ride I get this little voice in the back of my head saying bad things about my badlander.I went to Ebay USA and found a product called a seat saddle .The seat saddle people made it to size ,it's two cylinders of foam which runs front to back each side of the pillion pad, held together with a patterned leather gel filled pad, you just place it on your existing seat and stick it on the shelf when your finished(no remove and replace). it has taken the pain of my wife's ride. I bought it when the Au$ was good so couldn't guess the price now.

Hey Ductor has the seat saddle marked the paint at all? Any chance of a photo of it, if not don't worry to much thanks for the tip will look on ebay and see what I can find

Rex, anywhere I think the paint may chaffe I cover with clear contact, like under the seat or under saddlebags. I haven't taken any photos (I wouldn't know how to post them anyway) they're not the prettiest things but you just place it under your fair maiden's arse as she gets on and tuk it in your bag as she alights.

Sundowner seat is as ugly as sin and as comfy as your favourite old lounge chair.

The softail standard seat is better than the badlander but for the rider only marginally.

If she still isnt comfy on that set up either get a bagger or have her follow behind you in the car!

I had the same problem, I recommend you get the standard seat and give it to 'local upholsterer' to re-foam.
Wont cost much (less than $250).
