Fucken Harley retard Davidson have seen fit to relaese a new bagger in Australia that there are NO rear tyres available anywhere in Australia for.

I thought I would take a spare tyre on my upcomming trip, as I'm not sure the rear I have now will last the trip, so I ring around to try and buy the correct sized rear 180x65xB16. (Dunlop D407)

None in Australia anywhere, and there will be none available untill April / May

What the fuck were they thinking when releasing these baggers for sale? that we wouldn't want to ride the fuckers.

Considered going darkside (car tyre) again, but the 195x55x16 I used in the Lead Wing wont fit (belt drive rubs)

So I have to take a tyre not sized or designed for the 09 Ultra Classic on the trip now and hope it lasts.

Got 11300 km on mine so far, still plenty of tread left, SWHD assure they have stocks but I guess I will find out some time before Xmas, probably end of Oct got a week away down at Walpole planned with some mates. 

 

hey lofty just had 16000 service and two new tyres ,,no probs with supply of tyres and they were still 5% rear 15% front tred left !? been to tassie and back in march april bought it in december so not doin to bad on wear !

256.34 for the front one.

Both were completely fooked after 9500km.

yeah, i was pretty dissapointed.  I do ride the wheels off her, and she has a 124ci S&S kit fitted.  I was hoping for around 16,000ks.
