The bike sure does look nice,
Go for the 06 offer him 24k
Hi Butcher
I've got 08 custom. You always want to add some more bling, so far my bike cost me 37G's and I will spend approx 3000 next month.
Friend of mine rides 06 standard, he added some bling (bike looks great) and it really goes well, the only difference (apart from chrome) is 06 is 88cubic inches as opposed to 96 cu in in 08 custom and 06 standard has 5 speed gearbox with 08 custom having 6 gears.
Weight up your options, how much are you prepared to spend. Riding is not much different.
I bought my 06 standard because it still has a 5 speed box which I prefer, and the last of a model run is usually better than the first of a run. I have had no problems at all. I don't really understand Fatboys comments? I bought a standard because i liked the standard more than the custom. Too much bling on the custom for me, although I did polish the primary cover. With those sort of km's on it you can't go wrong, just buy the bike you want.
