For anyone who may be interested....

Just viewed the website, Ride Captains?  Tail End Charlies?  Normal HOG riding techniques? The last thing we want is a rabble lining up for a drag race? Yep yep yep I've been a  HOG member for three years, maybe this is why I haven't been to a meeting yet, Ride Captains...zzzzzzzzz  give me a break. I'll chuck in heaps of lucre it's a great cause.

Ride Captains get a big ol' neon light in lovely curly lettering for their bike, declaring their status, don't they? When you work all week, the last thing wanted is a 'boss' on a run.

I think most of us when riding in a group keep to a common sense stagger, some people like to lead, others to sit at the back, others to share it round. No place for rigid rules.

Their fundraising idea is a noble one though, totally a good thing.

I agree, who needs a road captain. Thats why its better riding with just mates than people who just own bikes lol. thats just dangerous. Most usually stack in the alleys when they leave peter stevens before they hit the main drag lol... give that a miss lol buy a mate lol...
