I thought that motorcycle sales especially scooters had risen, I guess not enough in the big picture of Yamaha.

Loving this news, wishing I knew this on Friday because:

I got in a verbal stoush, and if this dickhead wasn't a client, a real one. Came in to work calling my bike a 'boat anchor'. I played it down, saying it was an expensive boat anchor. And he kept up, "I owned four Harleys, including two at once and then one did its engine at 14000kms, and took 11 months to be fixed on warranty, never again" etc.

I let him know I've ridden with guys on Harleys well over 50,000kms on the clock and without a hitch. When he said how his pride n joy was now a Yamaha, I laughed his rice burning ass right out. I'd gotten over him pretty quick, and basically said I'd ride Ducati before rice, that he was brave to pay out on Harleys and if he truly owned any, he wouldn't have ever gone back. Not many do.

The boss quelled it and couldn't believe I'd gotten as angry as I did. I think my boss had put this dickhead up to mouthing off.

Regardless, enjoy taking a hit, Yamaha. Your clientele can get f*cked.
