Just while I am on about Ulysses, one big advantage the club has is that they cover the cost of rider training courses if you want to do them. Quite impressive to see an old fart tearing through the twisties on the Putty Road, his tank only 50mm off the ashpalt going that quick. Nearly fell off my Harley when he took one hand off the bars and waved at me. Bottom line, alot of these old farts can ride the wheels off most bikes, and riders.

For me i am really not into clubs, have yet to find one that suits..........
Would much rather ride with mates or solo, and do what i please...........
I have nothing against the clubs, just does not fit in with how things are for me at this time in my life............

my mum and dad went on 1 uselisee ride up here and found the leader doin 80k and hour just didnt do it for them.
we ride a lot with our local hog chapter. pretty well no rules, if you dont like the fella riding in front, get around him, if the group gives you the shits, get around them all.
they ride really well i find, sit on a good average speed. i cant stand sitting below 110ish, trucks are speed limited betweek 105-115, so if they try to overtake a pack you know you will have dramas.
a couple fellas are in the ulysses club, they ride with them every so often. so they cant be that bad, must have just been the one ride ma and pa went on

Was out on my Street bob, stopped for petrol , whole bunch off Uylesses riders pulled in , asked lots off questions how does it go ect ect , said if your out riding on your own join us for the day , bunch off freindly people .

On the other hand another day on my kwacka , waiting at the ferry , other side 30-35 bikes coming over , they come off the ferry , I gave them a wave , most off them gave me there toughest rehearsed look and sneer the ones that did'nt just ignored me . my missis said hows them ignorant bastards .

I said don't worry love there just your HOG chapter pretending too be 1% ers . I know which group i would join if i were too join one.

Funny thing is , over the years i've rode opposite a few 1% clubs out on a run and always been acknoledged with a wave . Hog group fack em would'nt give them my money ,
