hey guys, got my vrod dynoed other week after installing power commander and it has samson rip saws and k&n filter and they could only get 96 horsepower at the back wheel , was told another customer has same mods but with a 2 into 1 supertrapp exhaust and made 109 horsepower at wheel, thats a big difference so im looking for opinions on the best exhaust?
cheers Mick
Two mates have Vance and Hines Outlaw's.
The SE made over 120 RWHP when tuned .
lol mick dont you know its not banana boat any more, its angry bee especially with the new cams i'm gettin.
a real bike, like somethin thats not tryin to look more like a jappa
at least i dont have to worry about my bike gettin speed wobbles over 160
Most manufacturers state flywheel HP not rear wheel HP.
The losses through the driveline can be substantial !
I was going to bite my tongue, but I have to disagree !
Brake horsepower is measured at the output shaft of a motor, not the rear wheel.

Well i don't own a V-Rod but the newer one's seem to be slower as they come than the older smaller engined silver one's, i'm just going off what times and speeds they do at drags, but put falicon crank high comp pistons cam set and destroyer injectors they fly.
we have a few at the track with the supertrapp 2 into 1 and anothyer bike with supertrapp slip ons stock pipe, and they all run well depends on who is doing the tuning. , i've seen some stock v -rods with stock pipe just SE slip ons and SE air filter making 113hp rear wheel
So I should get me a set of these pipes and get it dyno tuned?
Next thing is where is their a recomended dyno tuning specilast?
