Hi guys...I need some advice / help with a problem regarding the Security System i just fitted to my bike.

My bike is an '04 Deuce, and i was given the part number 68207-00D, by Morgan & Wacker, Brisbane, as being the sytstem required for my bike.

I managed to find this sytem on ebay USA, but that part number relates to North America models. As Wacker's had already specified this number, i purchased the system, believing it to be the right one.

I fitted the sytem as per all the instructions, and everything worked ok......until i tried to run the bike!

The bike fires up, but that's it.....it just won't run ! Seems like the fuel injection doesn't  kick in or something like that.....just like it's ran out of petrol!

If i hit the "run" switch....starts first time.....then stops !  Anyone have any idea's ?  Could it be because the system is for North American models? Even tho the part number is the same for here ?

What would the difference be anyway ?

I'm no expert but in trying to think about your problem it seems to me that when starting you are getting power to the starter sitch injectors coil etc .when the motor starts there must be some bypass for power to go directly to the motor. I'd say this is where your problem is. maybe something is unplugged on the main switch.If there is power to the starter then the security system is letting power get through. so just check your circuits.

Hi again scotty........i guessed that's what it was (after sending the last reply)......anyway, just come back onto the computer to let you know that after the 30mins of waiting, following those instructions you gave.......all is now working fine!!

Just as a last minute "food for thought" to you all........the Security System i purchased, 68207-00D.....was selling for around $465 (Wackers)

I purchased from ebay USA 8 days ago......got it for $99 us (approx $159 australian).......so just goes to show, even in this present economic climate.......it's still cheaper to buy from US

I'm having the same problem with my 2003 Roadking classic, the factory alarm failed on my bike so I purchased a factory alarm kit  from the USA, part # 68200=00B and can't get it to work.
