Fitted new brake lines and master cylinder to my Streetbob ( master cylinder up on forwards), anyway I cant seem to get any pressure so I can bleed, everything is tight , master cylinder is full and lid secured, cant figure it out, any thoughts on this as to what I might be doing wrong.
Thanks for the tips, I'll give it a go, one thing though how do you push the pistons back in at the caliper?
Thanks Hilly and Scotty, didnt bother moving the pads back, with my luck I would fuck something, anyway did what Scotty said and managed to get some fluid back into the master cylinder, just a tad plus some bubbles, nipped up the bleed valve then topped up the master cylinder and presto had some pressure, yippee. Then bled as per normal and now have a working rear brake and brake light. Thanks heaps guys.
An aside to that took the bike for a run with the new forwards and must say it's gunna take a little getting used too.
Hey Hilly, yep they are Outlaws, haven't had any issues yet but am still getting used to them after 1.5 years on the mids, so have been taking it fairly easy on the cornering, that said went through the Kiama bends at a decent speed and didn't scrape anything. What dramas did you have?
Got ant photos of said brackets........just for future reference ;-)
Thanks for the photos mate, looks like those brackets have done the job. Might make some up anyway, would rather not scrape the bastards. Yours look good by the way. Close ups would be good if you can.
