Sunday 7th Feb - Brunswick Heads Fish & Chips

    Hi all,

    Late Notice but my withdrawal symptoms have kicked in again! I need Brunswick Heads chips in the park. So I'm heading down tomorrow for lunch. Plan is to leave around 9am and go through Terranora to Tumblegum then on through the Burringbar ranges then into Ballina for a fuel stop and a drink. Up the coastal road through Lennox Heads and onto Byron. Then into Brunswick Heads for lunch and home again.

    Any takers?

    Can't make it unfortunately Trace, but have fun, t'is always a fantastic ride and enjoy those fish and chips (there's no doubt they're the best around).

    Well I did a solo ride today from Redcliffe through Brisbane to Blacksoil, back up through Esk, Kilcoy and Caboolture to home, all just to get a new tyre (had to break it in!) but I could be tempted. 9 am at Mudgeeraba servo eh? Sounds like a plan. Weather should be good - hope there are none of those Coastal Showers again.

    Great Ride Tracey! an the fish and chups weren't half bad either.
    Top day, great ride, great scenery and best of all great company.
    We'll have to do it again sometime.

    Great day for it. Only one heart stopper eh Trace? I'm sure I saw his brake lights come on, but he must have had better things to do.

    Glad I put the lounge chair on though. All up this weekend was about 700ks. New tyre should be right now!

    Any time anyone wants to head down that way, even on short notice, post it up and I'll be in it! What a great ride. Wasn't a bad trip home up the highway either, apart from the sunburn and spilling my change at the Gateway toll.  Have to invest in a L/S shirt and an E toll I think.

    Anyway, thanks again Tracey and crew. See you at the next one.

    Yes... I was checking my mirrors for more than just bike headlights for the next few kms. If he had been 30secs earlier in coming over that rise I imagine I'd be back to being point-less again.

    Nah, you'd be right, cos we had Mick & Shelley riding shotgun....

    By the way, that Nightster can sure mix it! I'm impressed.

    I was wondering about mr plod and if he got a fix on yez, obviously not.
    Luckily I was going slow to ride tail end for Shelley as she had a crook neck so I lost no points and no money.
    Would have loved to test it out around there with yez thats a great bit of road.

    I'm sorry for the short notice guys... I just found I could get away for the day late Saturday, and the urge for fish and chips was overwhelming ;)
    Hope to catch up with the rest of the crew soon!

    By the way, that Nightster can sure mix it! I'm impressed.
