Done a search and couldn't find any infor on Upper Cylinder Lubricant. My friend who does head jobs (no funny comments here) for cars swears by it. He says there is a definite difference between ones that use it and ones that don't. The problem is he knows that it makes a difference to cars but doesn't know if it would for bikes. I use it on my car and was wondering if I should start using on my bike. Has anyone got any views or experiences with these products for bikes?
Thanks

I am like you , I have it on the shelf so I guess it wouldn't hurt to give a few mms every tank full.... The worst that can happen is that it does nothing unless some one can prove otherwise.
I was advised by an old timer who raced bikes for 30 years to add a teaspoonful to each tank of 2 stroke in my son's RM125, which had a fair bit of work done to it. He rode that thing flat out 26 weekends of the year for over two years and I never put a spanner on it other than changing the plugs. I put a dose in the Wideglide at every opportunity and I give both of the older cars a squirt now and again - one has 280,000 and one 210,000ks with no engine probelms. So I'll be continuing to add it. I reckon it;s probably more useful nowadays when engines run so much hotter and leaner.
I use Morey's or Lucas as they were the brands old mate recommended.
