Nothing set in stone, how about a counter lunch at the St Andrews pub?

On a Sunday, for the unlucky buggers who work Saturdays. Not to early for those nursing hangovers...

Through Lilydale, Yarra glen there, then back through Eltham?

All welcome. It would be nice to get as many "Earlier Bikes" there as possible.

    More details T.B.A.

That pub is great. Be nice if there's a blues band playing around that time (I'm not a super blues lover, but the best bands that play it, I've seen there).

I know its not great riding time but St Andrews in winter too when they have their fires cranking inside is just awesome.

According to the bling-only faction of HD owners, "2006 is ancient, hurry up and get an 09 - or we won't ride with you". Haha thanks for clearing that up though, Hootin. It made me re-read Shovel's post. I saw it in the wee hours yesterday and thought it meant the bikers who like their rides to leave at 9am (requiring early weekend wake-ups)... Duh.

For the record, Big W are selling two harley dvd's for $9 bucks and $12 bucks respectively. One is a history of harley models and is pretty good, it seems to end in the late 80's/early 90's with the mullets and bad mo's of California dominating it. The other is a two-disc pack documenting Harley rides across the USA, some owners and peculiar bikes. The two-disc one is hilarious - a professional sounding American voiceover man, making rude double entendres every few lines. ie. girl in g-string is shown - "sorry love, I don't want your cherry pie". "Big twins! Oh and the harley davidson engine!" Worthy of a look on a rainy day at least, and not bad value.

Given the events of the past week, I wouldn't be adverse to finding where their CFA is and if us riders all slip in a couple of bucks. Make it even more worthwhile, and hopefully a cause might bring more to attending.

This thing is over a month away so it will be at a time when things are starting to make amends for the townsfolk.

Awful news about your cousin, walka. Sounds like she's safe so there's that silver lining we should always try to look for :)

Should we maybe tag onto Walka's ride through this area on the 15th?
