Hey guys who is running one of the Fuelshots Gen III ?

Did you fit it yourself ? How long did it take ? Complicated or easy ?

How does it perform after the fit, do you need a Dyno or is it self tuning like the Thundermax ?

Groover is your '08 RoadKing throttle by wire?  Reason I ask  is the '09 models are.

    Thanks

    Scotty Posted.......

Just like to make people aware that there are alternatives.

This forum would have turned into a fuelshot only forum, but I show people alternatives.

Yes I dislike add-on devices and I make it known.

Got a problem with that......bad luck

I have happy people with good tunes and no problems and no modifications needed to hide the device somewhere.

Every year HD make it harder to do.

Let's face it your only problem with me is I take away a few sales and that annoys you.

We can agree to disagree but there is more to tuning a bike than fudging the injectors after the signal has left the ECM.

Adding more fuel is not always the answer and anybody who wants me to prove that just let me know and will show stock bikes that needed fuel taken away in certain areas to run correctly.

The fuelshot cannot do that.................no matter what you say I have the facts from the manufactuer.

    End Quote......

All for letting people know there are options. We do the same also.

You are welcome to your opinions. There are many ways to skin a cat. Is the TTS a good unit? im sure it is. Is the SERT a good unit? im sure it is. Is the TMax a good unit? im sure it is.

The point is that they all have advantages and disadvantages. As some of our customers will attest to, we give comparisons across the range and not specifically promoting our unit.

"Let's face it your only problem with me is I take away a few sales and that annoys you."

You could not be further from the truth im afraid. The issue is you make smart arse remarks that are not based on anything other than your personal opinion. Like the comments in this thread.

Your comments are misleading and can be misconstrued. Stick to unopinionated Facts and help people make an informed choice.

Its great you have an opinion, everyones got some.....And Im really happy you have people who are happy with your tuning. Ultimately, the customer is what is important, not your ability to bag someone else.

And for the record, Fuel can be taken away if one so desires. In 99.9 % of cases, people need to add fuel to improve their performance as they have added air/ exhaust mods.

End of my comments in this thread.

    Kind regards

    Mick

I cant see how this forum would have turned into a "Fuelshot" only forum when theres only a handful of posts on the Fuelshot. Seems to be alot of questions and problems and CONFUSION associated with all other types of tuners including the one you are consistently trying to push. Having said that youve got nothing to gain by trying to make another product look bad. We have always made it quite clear and given the options of using alternative tuners other than the fuelshot. We explain the complexities, advantages ,disadvantages with either and allow the customer to make their decisions based on that information.
Good to see that you have happy people with the "tuneups " you provide. (what are they comparing to?)
As far as modifications needed to hide the fuelshot please feel free to contact me so i can tell you what youve been doing wrong. And as far as sales go!!! i didnt realise that YOUR tts tuner was doing so well in the sales department that we need to rethink our advertising campaign.
The fuelshot cannot take fuel away and has never been claimed to do so. If this has been the case could you please forward us the relevant information so it can be corrected.
It seems that our proven results due to many hours of testing which in turn has given us many happy customers really pisses you off or you still heve a bee in your bonnet about a dissagreement you and i had over a year ago. Its well and truly behind us and hope we can move on from here to offer people the best advice on the different products available.

    Im with Mick
    Nuff said.

Here are my comments on this

I have had Joe and Mick do work on my bike for me. I do not run a Fuelshot.

All I will say is that these two guys do not push a single answer, never have since I have known them. They will offer advice and let you decide which way you want to go. I have spent a few hours talking with them about different things I want done to my bike ..not a single request for payment of knowledge.

Just wanted to let people know that Joe and Mick aren't just after "sales" ... far from it, they are much more than that. But if you do buy through them, you will find you will get great follow up service and help if required for whatever reason.

Just wanted people to know from a person who has dealt with them and will continue to deal with them due to their honesty and stand up ways.

I'm happy, I have a fuelshot and my bike is doing what I want it to do with the greatest of ease to fit and now I can ride my new Roadking where I want it too instead of using it to fry eggs or my legs on a nice summers day.

    I bought a product.
    I received good service.
    My bike runs well.
    I'm happy.

P.S. And now I know how to re-set my idle rpm through the ecm which has nothing to do with the Fuelshot and everything to do with HD Corp.

I'm with you Scotty, hate add on's. With T Max auto tune no need for the so called expert tuners, but these ECM's are for serious riders!! Ha Ha!! Remember you get what you pay for, if you spend $400 you $400 worth of performance but if you spend $1200 you get $1200 worth of performance, simple, why run a Mini when you can run a Ferrari in Formula 1!!!!

Nige if i decrease the price will that make you buy one (or two). Then again why would you want to use one and have less than the 120hp your bike makes. No mate i know you cant be conned. Not with the vast knowledge and experience you have with having used so many different types of tuners.
    Go you fast thing.

yes we do mate. As mentioned above, plenty of ways to get your bike going. If your preference is the SERT, then we can help with the tune.
