Just checked the HD website and there is a new Sporster in the line up. It's a basic black Sporster, single seat chopped rear guard etc, looks pretty good.  Has the side moount number plate, which I guess is not legal here in Oz.

They have done a good job of this one.

The mufflers could've been black also, or just the heat shields.

I like it! Branding leaves a little to be desired.
Be interesting to see if it comes with those shocks or the longer shocks like the nightster has ended up with. And yes, why didn't the N engine assembly come blacked like this??? Honestly *&%^

I read one of the press releases that said they were targeting women with the bike... but in all honesty, there is no way in this world they would have called it an iron if they wanted the name to appeal to women.

It's like the opposite to over-blinging, chrome needs black to contrast itself off. Too much of either is an extreme. That said, I'm sure some people would love it. And I'd be on one of those quicker than one of those XR's.
