A 43-year-old Coolup man died when his Harley Davidson motorbike hit a ditch in Perth’s southern suburbs yesterday. Police say the man was riding along Gibbings Road in Coolup when he skidded around a right-hand bend about 2.40pm. His motorbike travelled onto the gravel verge then went into a road-side ditch. Police say the man’s partner, who was travelling behind him, provided medical assistance but he died at the scene of the crash.
