hi does anybody kno how many litres of engine oil go in a 1970 sportster???

I checked my '70 to '03 Haynes Manual and they didn't give a separate listing for the 1970 Sporty oil capacity. They list the oil capacity for all Sporty engines as 2.8 litres (3 Quarts). It's a good manual, it's cheap and it lists all the specs for the different models, (e.g., the XL1200S which has different forks). I bought my copy from the Fishpond online store.
