Ya see HO, they'r all coming up with excuses not to go mate, actually so are you your higness.......I'll have a drink for ya, pay me back later
I'm going for a ride regardless, looks like being a Quindanning type thing........
Karl (AKA FYO) and me mate Noel are starters, Stix might even be enticed
Hoggy, I asked for expressions of interest to go, not and excuse not to go
Still Mirxing.
Will talk at Hamburger Hill on Thursday.
Looks like I'll be free for a ride sunday Bob.
Good one PIB, this will a low key affair and wi'll see where it ends up.........Be good if ya can come along HO, I was not intending this to be anything too serious, as if they are anyway. The date has more to do with the fact it's a long weekend, have Monday of (gonna be a hot one) and maybe even fly the flag.....
And the iron butt will be on two weeks from then as well.
The meet point will be the Premier hotel car park, Pinjarra at 9am Sunday morning
And for all the flyers.....double demerit for the weekend....more the reason to go steady
Uncle Ho Forum Ambassador, myself and any others that show up will be leaving BP Success at 0800 hrs sharp Sunday 25/1/09 to meet with Bobtail in Pinjarrah.
Take it easy boys, Long weekend - double fcuking demerits, boys in blue will be out for a hunt.
Thanks for the ride gentlemens 642km round trip for me but then again I went and met the Ambassador and his crew at Gateways first. Now I asked the cheif cook and bottle washer to massage my sore ass but alas I will have to either do myself or do without hehehe. was the longest ride so far I have done and I had a ball. in ending I will say it was great to meet you all. Mr Ambassador I still have no idea what caused the back fire and dying in the ass but at least it righted itself without me having to stop ... it hasnt done it since. Still think it a tad intersting that we found a pub on a long weekend that DID NOT serve food weird huh
edit:
forgot to say thank you all for the corner marking ect was great ... that way no one ( or I should say Me at the back of the pack ) got lost or misplaced and for a relatively newbie to group riding it was awsome "WELL DONE "
Yep was a good ride. Was good to meet Stix and Scorp as well.
That friggin FYO makes me laugh, what a funny bugga he is>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Take care and catch ya all soon.
Bob
thanks for organising BT.... great to catch up with you guys again. had a blast today... round trip around 650k. mind you the pool was inviting when i got home
sorry only one pic from me today........ seems that pigiron was so keen to get out of the house and on his bike.............
Thanks for putting the ride together BT.
That bloody Yamaha of Noels goes pretty bloody good, went past me when I was spending a $165.00 onthat back road.
Jasus Ho you went all that way only got 1 friggin pic and that was of me with me daks undone and me shirt on back to front.......... Barstard
regarding the drags.... here are new helmet specifications...
Notes on Helmets... If your helmet is over 12 years old then it is probably not acceptable for use on the Drag Strip. Look for the following markings to check if your helmet is ok to use for racing. Sometimes the label is under the padding inside the helmet. Full Face Helmets bearing any of these standards are acceptable; SNELL SA 2000, SA 2005, SFI 31.2 (US) SNELL M 2000, M2005, SFI 41.2 (US) BS 6658-85 Type A (British) SNELL 2000/2005 - SFI 31.1 (US) BS 6658-1985 Type A/FR (British) AS/NZS 1698/2006 (AS/NZS 1698) < Note this new standard
suggestions are that even open face helmets require the AS/NZS 1698/2006 (AS/NZS 1698) standard
Twas a great day yesterday, good to see a dececnt turnout, particularly Scorp on his sporty........We sorta went where the road led I suppose, even found a new one, some good hard riding, even Noel decided to stretch out a bit. I spent a $1.75 and couldn't catch Stix or Karl at times
Seeing that it was a Ambassador sponsored ride the highlights are pertaining to our HO.........Flying the HDF flag.......
Heres Ambassador HO doing his stuff at the Bridgetown (poofter) pub........
Ambassador HO, meet and greet on the footpath........
Ambassador HO organising his tackle before his Ambassorial speech.......
The Mumballup pub got a workover by our Ambassador as well
