Accessories fuse ..........NOT

Lost power to my accessories plug under the seat (07 RK Classic). How it happened is a long and uninteresting story. However,

I said, "Must be a fuse!", and proceeded to pull off the LH cover and pull out the fuse holder.

I said, "Oh look, there's the "accssories" fuse. That'll be it"

    But it wasn't.

So, then I said something else, pulled out the multimeter and started removing covers , checking connectors, etc.

Some extended time after that I said, "This is getting too complicated - I'll check the wiring diagrams"

Then I discovered that the "Accessories" switch, which drives the "Accessories" plug under the seat, is fused through the "P&A" fuse.

I said, "Oh dear, that is a trap for young players". Well I actually said something else, but that's what I meant.

So, I still don't know what the "accessories" fuse supplies, because I was just a tad pissed off, but I know now it doesn't power the Accessories.

Sorry RT, I used the "<" symbol a few times and it blanked out some really useful words because it's html. Fixed now. Have another read.

    Nice pun tho'

Yeah, I know what the switch does Scotty. It's actually the left one that controls the Accessories. The problem was that I HAD power, then I lost it. I've fixed it now by replacing the P&A fuse. It just took a long time to find the right one...
