picked up a flywheel assembly the other day, its got a set of pistons attatched, ive tried identifying em on the net but no luck, Perhapes someone here might now how to go about it.. The numbers are 354-99 they are TRW brand..Good lookin items, & are usable,, Any ideas?????
Some company bought trw a while back l think , but the names still around mainly car stuff, ,the flywheels are mocasco-60,,41 & 56 makes them 1965-69 ..rods are origonal as well big end & small end are in great condition, the whole lot could be run as is, l want to check out the pistons cause there is a slight valve mark on both inlet indents so either its run a to high lift cam, the dome on the pistons are to high for wot they were doing , wrong valves , who knows? The pistons are of good quality just looking at them screams quality, they have done bugger all miles, usualy l wouldnt bother with used pistons but these are worth looking into, And yes they are old, they have the older gudgin clips the ones before circlips you cant buy the replacments here but j&p did have some last time l was looking about 3 years back..if l cant find out through the forum what they are l might have to measure them ..ill keep checking in for a while someone could be clued up on this stuff....
