Fugged if I can remember if you spell it hiway, highway or hyway or whatever, but I was thinking of adding a set of these to my bike if nothing else (bill wise) comes up in the next few weeks and wondered if anyone has them - thier thoughts, prices and place of purchase if possible.

I was looking at the ones that you clamp onto the forks (oculd be worng about that too) I think since they seem like less work to get up and running.

I just bought a set of forward controls and took the levers off them.

Got them off ebay, work great. Can't remember how much though.

Don't use them too much, but good when I do.

Haha! Well, HD are releasing baskets for the front of the bikes in 2010 :) Also little glittery reflectors for wheel spokes - factory fitted!

The only time I think of getting highway pegs are when its too late middle of a long ride and you know you're gonna be bow-legged the next day.

A block heel stops any movement, up to 145km/h anyway ;)

Forwards are fine by me. I can put my feet forward and rest my the backs of my heels on them as a bit of relief and leg stretch on a longer trip. I went from mids on my last bike to forwards and the first couple of rides on the bike had me missing the pegs and controls down there til my brain adjusted...

Mids are much better for fanging.

If you are more of a cruiser the forwards are fine.

Only have the highway pegs for the straight bits.
