Nightster with a kicker?

I'm consdering (ie: a week or so away from getting a loan / trade-in my current ride) for a nightster.

Anyway... couple of quick changes to make it my own... 1. some nice apes... and 2. a kicker.

The latter, I'm not finding much on.
Has anyone has a kicker installed on a nightster?

If so, can you please give me a bit of info on the price of getting it done, where etc.
I'm in VIC, but depending on the time it takes to do a conversion of that sort, I am riding up to QLD in around May, so anywhere on the way would be just fine too.

ah, hmmmm, see whats a bobber without a kickstart :(
a bit of food for thought there.

the other thing that i was curious about was the gearbox on these. are there many 6speeds avail for sportys?
im currently on an xvs1100 custom, the 5speed box is ok, but top gear is about 1 gear too low at anywhere above 120.
i guess i really need to get a test ride on a couple. But any advice on this topic woul b great too.

being its 2009 technology has advanced and the kicker has been overtaken by a push of a button these days. so its what would be expected on a new bike like the nightster.

if ya really want the kicker look i would buy an original or wack on a fake one and when ya give it a kick ya can push the button at the same time, no one will eva know.

5 gears will do ya fine I reckon, I know on a softail if ya using 6th ya doing well over the max speed limit.

yeah fair enough on both those topics i raised...
    i might have to consider

i just love the feel of a bike, when it's sitting at 100kph and you know that it's still just getting started... don't get me wrong, i'm not one for excessive speeding... everything should be in moderation.

    hmmmmm.

Been away from the fold for a while and only just catch'n up.
I was surf'n a couple of days ago and came across a bloke on, I think, the US HD Forum site who had a kick start on his Nightster, along with suicide shift. Looked the good from my point of view. He also claimed it was the only Nightster either in the US or the world with a kicker.
Big call me thinks, but he was a yank after all....

G'day Bucket, nah it's not mine, I don't have apes on mine....yet... Found the pic on the net a while back and liked. Obviously its a 1200N; however, someone has photoshopped a crossbones springer to it.

I'll have to sign up for photobucket or similar so I can attach the image, otherwise do a Google 'image' search for Nightster and it comes up in the first half a dozen or so pages.

Anyway update on my hunting of the kick start Nightster. I admit it, I suck........ Even after searching literally all weekend I still couldn't find the bastard!!! I even registered with another forum that sounds similar to this one. After chat'n with a few blokes they comfirmed with me that it exists; however, was a major modification. The original five speed was removed and fitted with a Baker 6 speed. Lots of machining was required to fit to the 1200 donk. Cost a shit load by the sounds of it.

So to answer the original question it can be done but the cost would be high. I was refered to Ledsleds website (see attached link) for pics of other Sporty Evo's with a kick start. Apologies for taking so long but pride got the better of me.......
