For me it was the first day of primary school. We had a new teacher at our small country school and he had a bike for transport. I remember it as being a Triumph twin, blue in colour. I remember the chrome Triumph badge on the tank and the twin exhausts. I was wrapped especially when I heard it running for the first time..................sounded magic.
My cousins little Honda when I woz just a wee little squid..
When I was a kid I saw an old red Indian outside the Glengarry pub it just stood out from the rest of the bikes around it and I was hooked.
I remember, as a little kid, looking out the back window of my fathers EK Holden, watching a motorcyclist following us and wondering how the hell it stays upright.
From then on it was a dream until , 25 Years later, I could buy my first bike (clapped out Suzuki GSX 250) and get my licence.
Could have had one much earlier if I put my mind to it. It's no good just dreaming.
I reckon this'd be it... Me beards a lot shorter and darker of course... he he...
