Sounds pretty cool - my brother lives in Woodend, its a short hop from Gisborne. Hehehe he rides a Kia Carnival *snicker* but I could ask him if there's a decent stop around there. He lived in Kyneton too - a bit further up. I'll pencil it in so I should be able to make it happen.

I could be starter - will check with the social secretary to see if she has anything else planned.

We will be coming from Ringwood, so will be an early start for us - will confirm hopefully tomorrow (08/01).

Just got home after an enjoyable Brekky run to Gisborne, etc.

Great to meet up with fellow HD Forum members, like WozzA indicated in his above post good to put faces to names.

Thanks Ron, for organinsing the Ride.

As Swoody mentioned, we should try and arrange a joint run with both the West and the South/East members and end up down Philip Island way for a casual lunch and meet up - especially now that the Melbourne weather is on the improve?

If anyone is interested let me know and we will see if we can schedule some dates.

Swoody has pics will post when he gets back from Kilcunda (camping trip with kids)  He is coming back Thursday at this stage, unless the kids are driving him nuts

 

I'm not ashamed to say Swoody is and will always be the better rider and as for the quicker rider well obviously i gave him a run for his money on my TA 200  

I would just like to say a big Thank you to all who went on the ride, it was a most enjoyable day after getting over my initial nerves. I was made to feel welcome and not like a Learner I know i was a bit of a putt putt but if you can all put up with me again i can't wait for the next ride!!!

To all that came, thanks for the company. The ride was nice, when rain was spied towards Trentham decided to double back to Gisborne and on to Bacchus Marsh. Have always liked that road between the two sets of mountains.

Really good to meet some people and see some schmick bikes.

Will post some pics when I have time.

Jan, I wasn't aware that we had a learner with us, I'll ride with you anytime, well done.

Must say that I had a great ride & it was great to meet a couple more of you. Must thankyou all for making Jan (Mrs Swoody) very welcome. She had a ball as she has already stated & can't wait for the next run.
