Hi folks,
Only found the forum yesterday but thought it's only fair I join whilst I'm finding my way around.
I've been riding for 13 years and done a stint as a motorcycle courier and had a couple of Yamaha 250s before getting a Sportster. I've always loved riding but recently I've found myself interested in the mechanics and how bikes are put together so hopefully I can expand on my almost non-existant mecahnical knowledge through the site.
Currently I have an 07 883L Sportster whilst I'm saving my pennies for something bigger which hopefully comes by the end of '09 - a customer softail would be great but I'm also trying to tee up a test ride on a Fat Boy. I'm out in Point Cook in Melbourne and commute to work on the Sportster everyday, as well as get out for the odd weekend ride.
