Hi Guys

I have an 08 1200 custom sporty.

Is it common to scrape the pegs when cornering.

I also noticed today the stand scrapes when hanging a left turn.

I dont ride hard or lay it down low, at least I don't think I do.

Does anyone else have this problem.

Custom Sportsters are lower, So yes the Stand rubs on Left Turns and The Pegs on Right Turnd

Just thank your lucky stars it's not a FATBOY or you would scrape on nearly every corner if you hang off it or not. Sometime it just the camber on the road too as i scrape on most round abouts.

Yeah ditto with the roundabouts - I live in Canberra so the bloody things are everywhere. Since lowering the rear of my bike, I grimace every time I lean over, and get ready for the sparks!!

..but hey, what's the price of a new set of footpegs compared to the fun value ...???!!
